Scalli Murphy Law SMS Communication Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By opting in to receive SMS text messages from Scalli Murphy Law, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not opt in to our SMS service.
2. SMS Service Description
Scalli Murphy Law provides SMS text messaging services to clients who have explicitly opted in to receive appointment-related communications. Our SMS service includes:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders (typically sent 24-48 hours before scheduled consultations)
- Important updates regarding appointment changes or cancellations
- Critical case-related communications when necessary
3. Opt-In Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from Scalli Murphy Law. This consent is not a condition of purchasing or receiving legal services from our firm.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your scheduled appointments and case needs. You may receive up to 3 messages per appointment (confirmation, reminder, and any necessary updates). During active legal matters, you may receive additional important communications.
5. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Scalli Murphy Law is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
6. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying “STOP” to any SMS message
- Contacting our office directly
- Requesting removal during any consultation or phone call
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
7. Supported Carriers
Our SMS service is available for all major U.S. mobile carriers. If you experience issues receiving messages, please contact our office.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your mobile phone number and related information will be used solely for the purpose of sending appointment-related communications. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law or as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
9. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate appointment information via SMS, these messages are for convenience only. Please verify all appointment details by contacting our office directly. In case of discrepancies, information provided directly by our office staff takes precedence.
10. Technical Issues
Scalli Murphy Law is not responsible for delayed or failed message delivery due to technical issues with mobile carriers, network congestion, or other factors beyond our control. If you do not receive expected messages, please contact our office.
11. Legal Services Disclaimer
SMS communications do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. All legal advice will be provided during scheduled consultations or through formal legal communications.
12. Attorney-Client Privilege
SMS messages are intended for appointment coordination only and are not considered privileged communications. Do not include sensitive legal information in SMS replies.
13. Modifications to Terms
Scalli Murphy Law reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our SMS service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
14. Termination of Service
Scalli Murphy Law reserves the right to terminate SMS services for any user who violates these terms or uses the service inappropriately.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Scalli Murphy Law regarding our SMS service.
